TechAround Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our software-as-a-service platform (“Service”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information : Name, email address, company name, billing information, and login credentials.
- Usage Data : Log data, device information, IP address, browser type, and interactions within the Service.
- Customer Data : Content, files, or information you choose to upload or input into the Service.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies : To remember your preferences, analyze Service performance, and measure the effect of our advertising.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Process payments and send billing notices.
- Communicate with you regarding updates, features, or support.
- Monitor usage, detect fraud, and ensure security.

3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
- Service Providers : With trusted vendors who help operate our Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors).
- Legal Requirements : If required by law or to respond to valid legal requests.
- Business Transfers : In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Analytics and Advertising Partners : Google Analytics runs on every page of our website. Meta’s advertising pixel runs on landing pages we send advertising traffic to, and not elsewhere on the site. These partners receive the page visited, your browser and device type, and your IP address. They are not given your account details, your Customer Data, or anything held in your vault.
- With Consent : When you give us permission to share your information.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may also retain and use information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
5. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Request a copy of your data.

7. International Transfers
If you access the Service outside USA, your information may be transferred to and stored in a country that does not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware, we will delete such information.
9. The Projectous Vault Browser Extension
The browser extension fills saved logins into sign-in forms and offers to save new ones. That is its only purpose. This section describes it specifically, because it runs on websites other than ours.
- Page content : The extension reads the page you are on only to find username and password fields, so it can offer to fill them. Page content is not collected, not stored, and not sent anywhere.
- The address of the current tab : Used to work out which of your saved logins belong to the site you are on. It is not kept as a browsing history and we do not build one.
- Credentials you type into a sign-in form : Read when you submit a form, so the extension can offer to save that login. Until you answer that prompt the details are held in the browser's memory and are cleared when the browser closes. They are never written to disk and never leave your device unless you choose to save them.
- Saved vault items : Encrypted in your browser before they are sent, and decrypted only in your browser. We cannot read them.
We do not sell or transfer this information to third parties, we do not use it for anything other than filling and saving your logins, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Removing the extension removes everything it kept on your device. Vault items you saved remain in your Projectous account until you delete them there.
10. The AI features
Six parts of Projectous send text to a language model: translating a chat message, answering a question about your finances, matching columns when you import a file, the support assistant, working out whether a reply unblocks a task, and the weekly summary. Each one sends the content that feature needs and nothing else. None of them is given your account to read through.
The model is run by Anthropic, as a processor acting on our behalf. Anthropic's commercial terms state that it does not train models on customer content, which includes everything we send on your behalf.
- We do not use AI to rate, rank, score or grade the people in your account.
- We do not build a profile of how anyone works.
- What the model produces is a proposal. A person decides what happens to it, and nothing acts on a model's output on its own.
If you would rather none of your content went to a model at all, contact us and we will turn these features off for your account.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Policy on our website and updating the “Effective Date.”
